  7. stir and let it simmer until your ready to eat..
  8. I keep mine on high for the first two to three hours. then I change it to medium for awhile. it depends on what time you want to eat and also if you like the beans tender or firm.

  10. taste taste taste !! make it spicier or lighter. I sometimes add butter to help with the flavor. you don't have to. I serve this with butter bread , rolls or cornbread. enjoy.
